Late this morning, Thursday 18 July 2024, on the occasion of the Volley Mercato in Bologna, the Ordinary Assembly of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A clubs elected the new representatives of the Board of Directors of the Lega Pallavolo. Aleksandar Boričić, president, and Renato Arena, vice-president, were present representing CEV, and president Giuseppe Manfredi represented Fipav: they all wished the Board of Directors good work in view of the next season.
Upon expiry of his mandate, Massimo Righi was confirmed as president and CEO of the Serie A Volleyball League. The Council of the Serie A Volleyball League is now made up of Massimo Righi, Bruno Da Re, Stefano Fanini, Lucio Fusaro, Albino Massaccesi, Stefano Santuz, Gino Sirci, Sergio Di Meo, Fabio Mechini and Michele Miccolis.
Absent from the Board of Directors since 2020 and elected to replace Franco Da Re, Michele Miccolis returns to represent not only the New Mater, but also Castellana Grotte, Puglia and the A3 series category in an important body for the functioning of Italian volleyball.
