After seeing him on the court several times last year, in the meetings with Wow Green House Aversa, the yellow-blue management and technical staff gave the green light to the negotiation and so Marinfranco Agrusti became a new yellow-blue player. A decidedly unusual and long first name that was soon shortened to a camp nickname still in use: Maric!
The 25-year-old central defender from Castellana Grotte will bring his 2 meters to PalaPrata this year, after a career that began in his home club, one of the most renowned in Italy at youth level, at just 10 years old. After his youth career he was part of the first team roster for two years, also having the thrill of his debut in the Super League. Then another two years in Puglia, in Alessano, interspersed with a season at Emma Villas Siena. Finally, last year the company landed in Campania in Aversa.
