Marco Marzola is the new coach of Belluno Volley.
Born in 1985, he is originally from Cesena and, as an athlete, he enjoyed a brilliant career in the role of setter, so much so that he even made it to Serie A with the Loreto and Sora shirts.
The path as a coach, however, begins in the 2021-2022 season, in the role of deputy at Sa.Ma. Portomaggiore: a team of which he took over the leadership in the following year. Then he landed in Bologna, where he remained for just over one championship, before moving to Motta: in green and white he took up the position close to Christmas 2023, managing to make the turning point and bring the Treviso team back into the top rankings.
This morning, with president Sandro Da Rold and sports director Alessandro Carniel, the coach signed the contract that will bind him to the blue and white colors until the end of the 2024-2025 volleyball year.
