Another confirmation has arrived: Luca Spirito continues to wear the Rana Verona shirt for the next two seasons. The setter born in 1993 therefore strengthens his lasting bond with the city and the environment and prepares to face his ninth year at the foot of the Arena, his fourth with Verona Volley. A Veronese adopted Spirito, who from next season will have a new teammate, Konstantin Abaev, recently announced.

This is what Spirito commented on the extension of the agreement: “Over the years I have built a special relationship with this beautiful city, with the fans and with an environment that welcomed me a long time ago in an incredible way. Here I grew and matured both as an athlete, but above all as a person and I had the opportunity to meet many people of enormous importance. The choice to continue the path with this shirt was easy to make, because I intend to write other important pages in the history of this Club together with all my teammates and continue to give body and soul for the people who follow us with a passion unbridled. Now a bit of a break to recharge the batteries to the maximum and be ready to prepare for the next season.”

“Luca has been a fundamental element for Verona Volley since day one – added Stefano Fanini, President of Verona Volley – In recent years he has always stood out on and off the pitch as an exemplary professional, an aspect that we look for in every athlete who plays with us. Spirito has always honored our shirt, fought for our colors and will continue to do so with the commitment, dedication and elegance that distinguish him. And this can only make our Club proud. We are happy and satisfied to continue the common path, with the hope of achieving other important goals together.”
