The latest confirmation in the ranks of Gioiella Prisma Taranto is that of Luca Paglialunga: hammer from Gioia born in 2004 at 192 cm, he made his debut this season in the Super League together with his partner Luzzi in the match against Milan and later against Catania.
Luca is one of the budding talents of the Apulian area who competed during the season with international level athletes from whom he was able to learn technique and discipline in every training session.
Equipped with wide margins for improvement, with a good technique that he has already shown when he was called into question, he has been renewed to continue in the direction of the project aimed at developing young people from the area who can assert themselves in the most important championship in the world.
Luca won the title of Champion of Italy (trophy of the regions) in 2019, then in the 2019/2020 season he played in the Serie B championship with Materdomini Castellana, from 2020 to 23 he played in Serie B at Gioia del Colle. At the same time he faced the last u19 season, finishing third with Materdomini at the nationals.
