At home, Cucine Lube Civitanova is looking forward after the skid in Verona. This was explained this week by Matteo Zamponi, assistant to the coaches of the red and white team alongside Enrico Massaccesi. Guest of 7×4, the rotogravure of Radio Arancia, the former kitchen player Zamponi, who rose to prominence in recent years by collecting medals as coach of the Deaf National Team and landed this year in the staff of Giampaolo Medei, photographed the team’s moment, recalling that Setbacks like this can help the group grow quickly and not repeat the same mistakes in the future.

Matteo Zamponi (coaches assistant): “We are ready to start again in the delicate match against Cisterna after the misstep in Verona. We knew we would face a difficult match, but I must say that in Veneto we played the first three sets with a lot of intensity. With some more defense we would certainly have won the first part, while we dominated the second and then fought point for point in the third without managing to impose ourselves. The regret is more for having given up in the fourth set. A stop that will however increase our experience, an episode that must not be repeated, but which for such a young team cannot be considered serious. Now the boys are already fired up, they will give their all against Pontini, we on the staff will help them look forward. My task, together with the other assistant coaches, Enrico Massaccesi, is precisely to support the athletes and help coach Giampaolo Medei and the second coach Romano Giannini in preparing for matches and in carrying out the daily technical sessions at the Eurosuole Forum”.
