Fresh from three consecutive days of intense training in the gym, including weekends, the Cucine Lube Civitanova is enjoying a Monday off today. The only one in a long week which, starting tomorrow, will see the men of Chicco Blengini get back to work with great energy to prepare for the internal challenge of the 6th second leg of the Regular Season in the SuperLega Credem Banca. On Sunday 4 February, at 6pm, the red and whites will take to the pitch at the Eurosuole Forum against Valsa Group Modena, a Club that has relieved coach Francesco Petrella of his duties, entrusting the final training sessions to his deputy Nicolò Zanni, waiting to announce the team this afternoon new coach. A move that will certainly shake up the environment of the Emilian association. The Italian vice-champions, who took advantage of the break for the F4 Italian Cup to improve their form in view of the second part of the season, must therefore expect a Valsa Group with a knife between its teeth.

After the successful comeback tie break in the midweek in Catania on Farmitalia, La Lube consolidated fourth place in the standings reaching 29 points, three points behind on the third step of the podium, occupied by Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, and with three points ahead of fifth-placed Allianz Milano.

Valsa Group Modena comes from the misstep in four sets that took place at the Kioene Arena against Gabi Garcia’s Padova Volleyball team. The Emilian team in which three great former red and whites play, Osmany Juantorena, Bruno Mossa de Rezende and Dragan Stankovic, is currently eighth with 19 points in cohabitation with a surprising Cisterna Volley, a team on the rise.
