The second round of the Serie A2 Credem Banca opened with a bang thanks to seven successes and two 160-minute marathons which rightfully entered the lowest step of the podium among the longest matches ever in the category. On Sunday 29 December 2024 we will return to the field for the last efforts of the calendar year, with the teams facing the 2nd round of return. The ranking, which always sees the winter champions of Gruppo Consoli Sferc Brescia as the locomotive, offers a nice head-to-head in second place with Consar Ravenna and Tinet Prata of Pordenone who jostle together on 30 points. The first of the Gruppo Consoli Sferc Brescia class will inaugurate the Sunday round, at 4.00 pm against Cosedil Acicastello, who after their return to success has announced Paolo Montagnani as the new coach following the resignation of Camillo Placì and Marco Lionetti’s stint as ferryman. At 5.00 pm, Campi Reali Cantù, fresh from the tie-break exploit in Veneto, will host Ma Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo, who must get back up after the 0-3 at home against the league leaders. Two races will take place simultaneously at 5.30pm: the Emma Villas Siena and the Abba Pineto, the classic between Tinet Prata di Pordenone and Delta Group Porto Viro. OmiFer Palmi with Evolution Green Aversa, at Pala De André all eyes will be on the regional derby between Consar Ravenna and Conad Reggio Emilia. First meeting at 7.00 pm in the Marche for the Marche derby between Banca Macerata Fisiomed MC and Smartsystem Essence Fano, a match that closes the round.
