Brugherio has chosen his opposite: his name is Petar Jurić and he is the Pink Devils’ first purchase on the transfer market.
Croatian, 24 years old, 203 centimeters tall, Petar is ready for his first season in Italy as a “bomber” in place 2 for the 2024/25 Serie A3 season of the Pink Devils.
For several years he has been a protagonist of the Croatian top flight, the last of which he played with the Mladost Ribola Kaštela shirt, a return of flame after that of 2021/22 in the club, finishing the season in third place in the championship and winning the bronze medal to the Croatian Cup, with a stint at Panvita Pomgrad and also at HAOK Mladost Zagreb, a historic club from the Croatian capital, with which he won the Croatian A1 League twice (2017/18 and 2018/19), as well as the Croatian Cup ( 2018/19) and Croatian SuperCup (2017/18)
Power combined with important physical qualities, experience and the desire to become a protagonist were the decisive factors in giving him the yes of the Rosanero club.
A choice that Sports Director Quintieri justifies as follows: “We looked at and studied Jurić in various situations and he immediately seemed like a very interesting boy. During our conversations he demonstrated a desire to work, grow and shine in his first experience in Italian championship. He chose our team because he knows that it is a place where you work well and where you can demonstrate a lot. Being his first time in Italy he has everything to prove but he doesn’t lack enthusiasm and the desire to work hard. We are sure he will be able to help the rest of the team and we are excited to see him at work.”
