Aurispa Lecce announces that it has signed opposite spiker Jacopo Cimmino. The 2000-year-old, 200 cm tall, comes from Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia, with whom he played the last Serie B championship.

Cimmino, however, is a true Roman and it was with the Athlon Club Ostia that he made his debut in volleyball. This is then followed by experiences abroad with Team Sunderland
and Northumbria University Volleyball, before returning to Italy and now competing in the A3 championship.

Cimmino is beaming when describing the agreement reached with Aurispa Lecce: “As soon as I was called by the company, I didn’t hesitate to accept the offer. A company that was warmly recommended to me and that always achieves excellent results in the championships it plays. This It’s my first experience in Serie A and it’s truly a pleasure and a unique emotion, because I’m making my dream come true.”

The opposite then reveals his personal ambitions: “I’m new to the league but the goal is to help the team perform at its best and to learn as much as possible in a professional environment of this level. I can’t wait to get to know him staff and all my teammates who I respect and admire.”
