First of two trips to Piacenza at the beginning of 2024. In the space of three days Allianz Milano and Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza will compete for the Quarter Finals of the Del Monte Coppa Italia SuperLega and for the second return day of the SuperLega Credem Banca. The first appointment is an inside-out race on Wednesday 3 January (8.30 pm) at the PalabancaSport with the Cup.
Milan and Piacenza both come from a convincing success in the championship, Roberto Piazza’s team at the Forum against Modena and Andrea Anastasi’s in Padua. In the season the first match between the two teams ended with a peremptory 0-3 for the Emilians. However, it was another Milan, without its starting setter Paolo Porro. The two teams currently occupy the third and fifth positions. However, as mentioned, only one will qualify for the Final Four scheduled in Bologna on 27 and 28 January 2024.
