In Siena for the win

Hunting for away points, First overall match between Emma Villas Siena, ninth at 13
points, and OmiFer Palmi last with 5 in the A2 Credem Banca championship. After
the exhilarating victory against Porto Viro in the festive setting of PalaSurace, the team
led by coach Jorge Cannestracci, tries to repeat itself away where it has not yet
collected points. Captain Carmelo Gitto introduces the delicate match: «The victory in
home against Porto Viro saw us as positive protagonists. We were good at having a nice
race pace, a lot of enthusiasm and to maintain the skills that each of us had. There
we found a lot with the work we did in the gym which has finally started
to bear fruit. Now we have two away games in a row, both important for us

us is fundamental. We must always try to get a result and bring home points

In the last round the home team clearly lost on the Cantù pitch, while
Palmi broke the taboo of victories by beating 3-1 at Porto Viro. The only ex in the match is
Carmelo Gitto, in the Sienese roster in 2019/20.
