Today Emma Villas began the fifth week of training in this pre-season preparation phase. The team underwent a double work session: weights in the morning and technique in the afternoon. The team coached by coach Gianluca Graziosi will certainly have an intense week.
The libero of Emma Villas Siena, Martin Coser, released some statements today, at the beginning of the fifth week of preparation for the white and blue team: “We have an important week ahead of us, with various test matches that we will be playing. We hope to get some good feelings ahead of the championship. We are working very well, the group is already united, I think we have done very good things in the gym working both technically and as a team. We hope to see the fruits of this work soon.”
Emma Villas Siena will be busy tomorrow starting at 5.30 pm in the Marche region for a test match against Banca Macerata. It will be the second test match of this pre-season phase after the one played last Wednesday at PalaEstra against San Giustino, a team that plays in the A3 series, a match that ended with a 2-2 result.
UCLA University, the Los Angeles college that trains many American volleyball players, will arrive at PalaEstra on Thursday. It will be a nice moment of volleyball and sport in Viale Sclavo: in that case the test match will start at 5pm.
Then, at the weekend, the Sienese will move to Abruzzo to take part in the tournament in Alba Adriatrica. A quadrangular in which four A2 series teams will participate: in addition to Siena there will be Pineto, Aversa and Fano.
