Good first match for Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria
1-3 victory in Modica and first historic success in Serie A3.
The Reggio team will return to the field on Sunday at 6pm at Palacalafiore to face the strong Lagonegro.
What game was it?
“Very intense.
The stakes were very high.
We fight for the point, we fight for the victory.
The A3 Series is a very difficult and tough championship.
Every match will be a battle.
I also saw a few other games: all very balanced.
We have to budget for this.”
The race?
“Intense.
As they all will be.
It’s a championship where there will be no half measures, or PlayOffs or PlayOuts. We have to stay focused.
It was more of a mental victory than a technical or physical one.
Well done in holding their own despite a few too many errors in the service.
It’s clear that when some players take to the field with determination and ability, it’s obvious that the technical level grows rapidly.”
How is the group doing?
“Fantastic and very solid group.
We help each other.
Balance matters and it’s going very well.”
The Palacalafiore?
Last year we were very followed.
We need our fans: it’s not an easy championship. They will all be sporting battles.
There are two-three teams emerging and the next opponent Lagonegro is one of them.
