Cisterna Volley is approaching Sunday’s match in Monza which will be the last match of the regular season. The team achieved its seasonal objective, fought until the end for access to the play-offs and, in the end, will play the play-offs for fifth place with the aim of continuing the growth path undertaken by the new club . With this in mind, in recent days Cristina Cruciani, one of the partners of Cisterna Volley, was appointed sole administrator of the company. «I am used to working with passion and determination, I have this attitude both in the company and in the volleyball club that we carry out together with the other partners – explains Cristina Cruciani, a very active figure within the organization of the company – I am a sports enthusiast and I must say that I have become very close to the world of volleyball. A very important thing, however, is seeing many fellow citizens enjoying the spectacle of the Super League matches at the sports hall and seeing the people of Cisterna carefree attending such a high level sporting event for me, but also for the other members, is a reason to great pride. We would also like local entrepreneurs to approach this project.”
The positive results on the field have facilitated the growth of interest in the team in the city. «As in all projects, commitment and dedication are needed and it is clear that progress is starting to be seen both in terms of results and in terms of attendance at the arena – adds Cruciani, at the helm of Gruppo Gesa together with her brother Paolo and under The attentive eye of his father Gino, a historic Cisternese entrepreneur who was also very interested in the great volleyball – Initially the arena was popular but not as I have been seeing it lately and this makes me very happy. I was surprised to see so many people during the match against Perugia, certainly one of the top teams in the championship, but on that occasion it was a midweek match in the evening and in the middle of winter, I must say that seeing so many people watching this guy of matches made me understand how much passion is growing around this team and how much interest there is around volleyball.”
