The athletes of Consoli Sferc Centrale are completing their retreat in Palmi (RC), where over the weekend they took part in a fiery quadrangular together with the hosts, in Aversa and Aci Castello: in fact an early start to the season which has returned excellent impressions on the blue and white potential expressed in two matches that ended in tie-breaks
Brescia, 8 September 2024 – The first three weeks of work are coming to an end at Consoli Sferc Centrale, essential for regaining confidence with the muscles and bringing back the memories of last May, when Atlantide wrote its history by winning the Italian Cup and the Super Cup of A2, the first national titles for the city company.

Zambonardi started with Tiberti and Bisset, Raffaelli and Cavuto at the back, Erati and Tondo in the center with Hoffer as libero. Space also for Cominetti and Manessi, author of the ace that closed the second set and for Cargioli, inside in the fourth. The Catania team instead focused on Rottman from the third set, with Bartolucci and Volpe blocking the Brescia attack.
On Sunday 8th the Toucans instead met Evolution Green Aversa, who on Saturday had succumbed to the hosts in the fifth.

Zambonardi is concrete: “I am more than satisfied with the approach to work that my athletes have demonstrated and I have seen a lot of technical quality in them, even if at this point of preparation, not having San Filippo yet available, we have not introduced the jump and this certainly leads to a delay in form compared to the other teams. These tests are interesting much more for creating team amalgam and automatisms than for the result. The setters learn to know and manage their attackers, we improve at serving and we evaluate diversified tactical approaches.”
The pre-season phase includes other matches: the internal one with the champions UCLA is confirmed for September 17th, but at Pala George at 7.30pm, rather than at San Filippo. To follow:
