The joint training between Conad Reggio Emilia and Gabbiano FarmaMed Mantova, which was held on Friday 6 September at PalaEnza, ends in a draw 2-2.
After the first two sets of lights and shadows, Reggio managed to reverse the trend of the test match and prevail by winning the next two sets. Coach Fanuli, during training, rotated the entire first team, to give his entire squad space to express themselves and to understand their full potential.
Francesco Guerrini, Conad spiker, who entered the court from the second set: “The joint training went well anyway. We managed to put into practice all the fundamentals we trained during the week. We can be satisfied with the game we expressed today. We definitely still have a lot to work on, but I think we have improved a lot in the break phase.”
Andrea Gasparini, opposite of Conad, together with Partenio was the protagonist of various “double changes”, in fact Fanuli changed the Porro-Stabrawa diagonal to the Partenio-Gasparini one. “Overall it went well. – comments Gasparini – We must be able to bring out the good things we have done. We know that we started off contracted, this is also due to the workloads which are still very high. We are in the midst of preparation, so we will begin to loose our legs and find our game well. We are happy because in any case we managed to fix the start and recover. We lacked a bit of intensity and positive attitude on the pitch; the first thing you see him on is the block-defense phase, because you really lack the incentive to go and get the ball. We are in any case in the 5th week of work, so now we understand what is positive and we can start working again on Monday”.
