From tomorrow, Friday 23 August, the Block Devils group will be complete! Simone Giannelli will return to Pian di Massiano, who this year will play his fourth season as setter of Sir Susa Vim Perugia, the middle blocker Roberto Russo, in his sixth season in the black and white jersey and the spiker Kamil Semeniuk in his third season in Perugia. With their return, they will all be available to coach Angelo Lorenzetti and his technical staff and the official calendar of events will begin which, in these weeks of late August and September, will precede the start of the championship.

Friday 30 August – joint training with Cisterna

Joint training with Cisterna Volley is scheduled at PalaEvangelisti. The event, starting from 5.30pm, will be open-door.

Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 September – Bogdanka Volley Cup

International appointment for the Italian Champions of Sir Susa Vim Perugia who will take the field at the Hala Globus in Lublin, Poland, for the “Bogdanka Volley Cup” tournament named after Tomasz Wójtowicz, Polish volleyball player, world champion in ’74 and Olympic two years later, who passed away two years ago following a long illness. In the quadrangular, in its third edition, Sir Perugia will take the field with three Polish teams: the local team LKPS Lublin, Jastrzębski Węgiel and Asseco Resovia. The Block Devils will play the first semi-final, scheduled for 5pm on September 7, with the home team Lublin, followed by the second semi-final. The afternoon of Thursday 8 September will open at 3.30pm with the match to assign third place and the final is scheduled for 6pm.

Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September – quadrangular Jesi Volley Cup

After the tournament in Poland, an international quadrangular awaits the Bianconeri: the Jesi Volley Cup, this year in its second edition, scheduled at the PalaTriccoli in Jesi, in the province of Ancona. The Italian champions of Sir Susa Vim Perugia will take to the field with Lube Civitanova, Allianz Milano and the French vice-champions of Tours Volley-Ball.

The two semi-finals are scheduled for Saturday 14th and the finals for Sunday 15th September, starting with the one for third place and followed by the final for winning the title.
