Belluno Volley board, in view of the next and now imminent season in Serie A3 Credem Banca, will be enriched by fifteen players. And, in this sense, the final blow of a crackling market is destined to further ennoble the battery of spikers. Because Gianluca Loglisci arrives at the foot of the Dolomites: born in 1998 (he will turn 26 on 11 September), he is an athlete originally from Mantua and has spent the last seven seasons in A2, between Alessano and Livorno, Mondovì and Reggio Emilia, Motta and Brescia , up to Pineto.
ADDED VALUE – «I am in a society that has high expectations – states the latest arrival -. Furthermore, the team is very strong, I already know several athletes who are part of it. They are all valuable guys: both from a human and technical point of view.” In short, we start from a comforting base: «The depth of the squad will be a real added value, also because it will allow us to raise the level in training».
ADAPTABLE – Loglisci is a guarantee of continuity of performance: «I consider myself a complete, balanced player, easily adaptable to various situations and with characteristics that can be used in the second line, as well as in attack. But, above all, I have a great desire to win. Off the parquet? I like being in a group, being in company. And try to create that magic that then makes everything you do on the pitch easier.”
STUDIES – The spiker from Lombardy is also busy studying: «During this summer I am continuing my university studies. In this regard, in a few months I will be able to obtain a master’s degree in physical education. And, in the meantime, I coach kids in some volleyball-related camps. But without neglecting a bit of vacation, especially on weekends.”
NOTHING BY CHANCE – Loglisci will experience his first A3 championship, after having played in B, at the beginning of his career, and in A2, until last spring: «The club has set up a truly competitive staff – concludes Gianluca – and has left nothing to the case. Furthermore, the coach does not need too many introductions. I am sure that, thanks to our technical skills, staff and training in the gym, we can aim high. Not only regarding the championship, but also the Italian Cup. I don’t like to hide: we will be one of the favourites.”
