Only twenty years old and a great desire to appear in professional volleyball: this is the profile of Andrea Garrone, one of the two new setters who will be part of the Negrini CTE 2024-25, coming from Mercatò Alba, after having made his debut in Serie B with Sant’Anna the previous season.

The young Turin setter says:

“My volleyball career began at the age of 12 in Arti e Mestieri, and then continued in the PVL and subsequently in Sant’Anna where I made my debut in Serie B with coach Andrea Usai. This last championship saw me in the control room for Pallavolo Alba in Serie B, a season that proved to be rather complex but which still gave me a lot in terms of experience and personal growth”

This year the proposal to move up a category arrived and Andrea immediately seized the opportunity: “I decided to embrace the company’s project right from the start for several reasons: first of all the enthusiasm with which it was presented to me, certainly for the technical guidance that we will have, but also for the group of absolutely valuable and experienced companions from whom I will try to learn as much as possible. Finally, I do not deny that the interest shown by the company in me was decisive in my final choice. I face this new experience with great enthusiasm and a great desire to do well, I can’t wait to get started”

Good luck Andrea!
