In his eighth season with the Volley Banca Macerata shirt, the libero is a point of reference for the team, one of the red and white senators. Next season Gabbanelli will return to the A2, a category he faced in the past with Macerata in the 2018/2019 championship and before that with Grottazzolina and Loreto, “It is a very competitive championship, we know that a battle awaits us every Sunday and that we will always have to keep the bar high. With the news regarding the team, it is important for us to start from some fixed points such as coach Castellano and his staff; together we will get to work to form a new solid group.”
The libero, originally from Loreto, then comments on his adventure in red and white, “This next season represents a further step in the long journey I undertook in Macerata many years ago; last season we reached an important milestone which confirms Macerata as a successful reality. It’s nice to continue in red and white and we’ll be ready as always.”
