A full-scale Final Four of volleyball, played on the tricolor taraflex of the Italian champions, a packed arena and an audience worthy of a great final; four teams that battled led on the bench by exceptional coaches: Angelo Lorenzetti, leader of Sir Susa Vim Perugia, but also the Block Devils Agustin Loser, Francesco Zoppelari, Massimo Colaci and Alessandro Piccinelli.
The first edition of the Volley Umbria Final Four was a success beyond all expectations: an event in its first edition, organized by Its Umbria Academy, directed by Nicola Modugno, together with Sir Susa Vim Perugia of President Gino Sirci, with the collaboration of USR-physical education office and the patronage of Fipav Umbria.
Over 2500 students from classes IV and V of high schools in Umbria (Perugia, Terni, Umbertide and Foligno) filled the steps and curves of the PalaEvangelisti, actively participating in the one-of-a-kind sports, training and orientation event . During the entire morning the kids, in addition to watching the Final Four matches and cheering for their favorite team, were able to receive all the information on the various courses, contents and placement opportunities from the coordinators and tutors of Its Umbria Academy thanks at the information points present in the arena.
