A.S. Volley Lube announces the extension of Francesco Bisotto’s contract until 2026. While waiting to complete his three-year degree in Sports Sciences, the Cuneo libero, born in 2002, 180 cm tall, has already been promoted on the field by Cucine Lube Civitanova in the course of volleyball growth. The convincing evidence and the space that the emerging athlete was able to carve out for himself during the season were worth an energetic handshake and the proposal of a two-year agreement to secure the division together with Fabio Balaso, linked to Lube until 2027 after the important renewal for 2022. In the recently concluded season, Bisotto debuted both in the SuperLega Credem Banca and in the CEV Champions League managing to make inroads into the staff and among the fans for the courage, stubbornness and athletic skills with which he faced every new challenge.

Beppe Cormio (general manager Lube volleyball):

“Last year we wanted to give confidence to a young man coming from A2 unaware of the real differences of the category jump. We renewed the agreement with Bisotto because Francesco has always applied himself, demonstrating, day by day, that his qualities could be refined and improved. ‘Biso’ put himself in the hands of the technicians and filled some gaps at the start by progressing. Consequently, guaranteeing a valid contribution. In the final phase of the championship, in a moment of difficulty for Balaso, Bisotto worthily replaced him several times and convinced us that he was a Lube athlete, earning the offer of a two-year contract. I would like to add that, in addition to his sporting abilities, he won us over as a man, because Francesco has an uncommon quality, he always knows how to behave in the right way on and off the pitch.”

Francesco Bisotto (libero Cucine Lube Civitanova):

“I am enthusiastic about the contract extension in one of the top clubs in the world and the growth carried out during the year, with hard work, thanks also to the help of champions and excellent staff. There have been some difficult phases this season and I have tried to assimilate as much as possible in terms of experience to accelerate my training. If among the compliments received that satisfied me the most it was that of my parents, the trust of the staff, translated into greater playing time on the pitch, certified my progress, repaying me for the sacrifices. The happy ending of the 5th Place Play Offs proved to be a tribute to our commitment. I had a great time with Chicco Blengini and if I feel more complete I owe him a lot.
