The spiker Daniel Rubin Frage, born in 2006, of Israeli origins, German by birth and Italian by adoption, is ready for his big debut in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship with the Diavoli Rosa shirt.
Having arrived in Brugherio with a dream, determined to be part of the Rosanero youth team, as an immature and inexperienced fifteen-year-old he revealed himself to be a “child prodigy”. In two years he climbed all the team hierarchies, winning an under 17 championship in 2023, signing the championship final with the ace that earned the tricolour, going through an under 19 silver, an under 20 League silver and the promoted to Serie B together with the rest of the 2007/2006 squad last season, to the point of earning a place in the first team, in Serie A.
Work doesn’t scare him and ambition and unbridled passion will be the driving force to face his first season in Serie A. Daniel Frage is ready to make his debut on the Taraflex of Serie A3 in place 4 wearing the Pink Devils shirt.
Coach Danilo Durand is enthusiastic about Frage: “Daniel represents a bit of an anomaly in the youth career. Having moved to Brugherio from Germany, where he had not been registered with any club, he transformed his dream of playing with us into reality and in two years, working with great determination, he was able to bridge the enormous disparity that existed with our boys of the youth sector. He worked and believed in it. This year he deserved to be included in the Serie A roster and, knowing him, I know that it will be a further incentive for him to work harder and better and continue his dream of playing in the Italian Serie A.”
Frage’s greeting: “Three years ago I would never have imagined that I would be part of the Pink Devils’ Serie A team. It’s really special and means a lot to me. I am sure that continuing my journey at the Devils and in Serie A will help me a lot for the future because in these two years I have only been around special people and true professionals who I trust blindly. When I arrived at the Devils I immediately saw a very high level which, in these two years, has only increased my ambition. Today here I am, in Serie A. I am aware that in my first season I may not have a leading role because I still have a lot to improve but I will try to make the most of this opportunity and have a good experience. I want to thank the Pink Devils from the bottom of my heart for taking me on two years ago, for giving me these opportunities and above all for believing in me.”
