On Wednesday 11 December, at 9.30 am, the Palazzetto dello Sport in Grottazzolina will once again be the scene of an event resulting from the partnership between the M&G Scuola Pallavolo and the IC Cestoni of Montegiorgio, as part of the initiatives of the “SPORTIVA-MENTE. THE SENSE OF SPORT FOR A SPORT OF MEANING”.
As part of a project carried out at the secondary school of Grottazzolina, dedicated to the Olympics, the meeting “FIVE STORIES WITH FIVE CIRCLES” will take place. VOICES AND FACES OF THE OLYMPIC DREAM”, in which all the classes of the lower secondary school and the fifth classes of the primary schools of the IC Cestoni (Grottazzolina, Montegiorgio, Monte San Pietrangeli, Francavilla, Belmonte Piceno and Monsampietro Morico) will participate.
The guests who will attend are of absolute prestige. The PalaGrotta taraflex will in fact be walked by five athletes who have participated in the Olympics or Paralympics, some even medalists. In fact, speakers will include: Carlo Macchini and Mario Macchiati of the Italian Gymnastics Federation, Fiamme Oro group; Michele Massa of the Italian Paralympic Committee and Italian Fencing Federation; Oleg Antonov and Danny Demyanenko of Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina. Macchini and Macchiati are true Fermos, Massa di Monte San Pietrangeli, while Antonov and Demyanenko in some way can be considered grotesque by adoption, being in their first season at Yuasa Battery, in the Super League.
