This – at the end of the formalization – is the composition of the staff for the first adventure in the A3 Credem Banca degli EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso series. The ‘little devils’ entrusted to the confirmed technician Mariano Maniscalco will have to, according to the trainer, bring out «what is a nice mix between the elements already present in our staff, an element of the nursery with the satisfaction of seeing it already in the staff beyond what could be its use and new arrivals. We have renewed a lot and it was also necessary to have more experience in moving up categories. An important tournament which, also thanks to the reduced numbers compared to the announcement, has meant that the average level has increased because, all things considered, there is a significant number of fewer players, which represents a significant filter with the best players present in the individual rosters set up by the various clubs”.
Even more so in the ‘Blue’ group which, for many professionals, is the one with the most substance in the third national series.
«The results of the last few seasons say this and it is also true that, especially from the North, many teams that moved up from B have decided not to confirm their presence in the higher division. The important thing now will be to see how we will be able to express ourselves.”
Specifically, the basic characteristic of the rossoblù team is linked, for Maniscalco, to an «important quality in the first touch, both in reception and in the counterattack phase».
Moreover «overall this team is very balanced in all departments and this will be a distinctive and relevant characteristic in the future. Among those confirmed, we will have a Zanettin in whom we strongly believe who, on the other hand, will be in his first experience as a starter in A3 for what could be continuous growth, also thanks to having several players with notable impact alongside him. We will have the chance to attack with more exits, thanks to a setter like Piazza who needs no introduction. His experience and his qualities could be the point of balance for our entire journey.”
