Whatever the final outcome, Thursday 25 April will be a day destined to be remembered for a long time in Grottazzolina: in fact, it has been years since there has been such involvement and love for volleyball, so much so that it was moved to Siena, also thanks to a day of celebration, a truly impressive amount of fans and supporters. A response that far exceeded all expectations, if we consider that the Emma Villas club had prudently made 300 tickets available for the visiting fans, and yet this number had already been greatly exceeded on the eve of the match, and many further requests have been following one another in the last few hours.
The Marche presence will therefore be truly substantial at the PalaEstra, an exodus we could call it, for what could already be a decisive match for the fate of the playoffs of the 79th Serie A2 Credem Banca Championship. For Yuasa Battery it will in fact be the first moment to be able to aspire to the great dream called Super League; a moment which, however, will find the very strong resistance of the hosts, i.e. an Emma Villas already widely accustomed to the high level (this is the team relegated from the 2022-23 Super League), strong in the workforce and encouraged by thousands of fans who, we are certain, they will rally around president Bisogno’s team to try to extend the series until Sunday 28 April, the day on which the possible race 3 is scheduled in Grottazzolina.
