Cuneo, after having tested the skills and tenacity of the Apulian spiker on his own skin, did not miss the opportunity to bring him into the blue and white; next season Cuneo Volley will be able to count on Felice Sette. Like his Estonian colleague, Felice is also born in 1996 and has 6 seasons in Serie A2 and one in A3 behind him. In the last three years, first with the Cantù shirt and then with the black-fuchsia one, the place four originally from Altamura has always shown great dedication to the team and to the goal with a spirit of sacrifice; characteristics that make him a valid addition to the Cuneo roster to face the next A2 season. Furthermore, having already worked with coach Battocchio during the season in Cantù is certainly an advantage for setting up work in the gym.

« I had the opportunity to speak with coach Battocchio and I am very enthusiastic about his approach and ideas. The common objectives are to build a solid team, which plays with determination and can compete at high levels. Personally, my goals are to further improve my game, contribute as much as possible to the team’s victories and grow both technically and mentally under the guidance of the coach. I am sure that together we can achieve great goals.”

What convinced you to come to Cuneo?
« I chose Cuneo for several reasons. First of all, the club has an ambitious project and an important history in the world of Italian volleyball and furthermore, I have heard very good things about the environment and the support of the fans, who are always warm and passionate. I believe this is the right place to further grow as a player and contribute to the team’s success.”

In the last season you visited the Cuneo arena several times, how do you feel about considering it your “home” pitch since mid-August?
« Playing in the Cuneo stadium as a guest has always been an exciting experience, thanks to the unique atmosphere created by the fans. Thinking that from mid-August it will be my “home” field fills me with enthusiasm and pride. It will be an honor to play for this City and I can’t wait to get on the pitch and give my all for this shirt.”

What do you expect from the next season of A2 in general?
« I expect a very competitive and intense season. Serie A2 is a high-level championship, where every match can reserve surprises and where all the teams will fight until the last point. Our goal will be to do the best we can, working hard every day to improve and try to reach the playoffs.
