Federico Pellegrini still in blue and white. The spiker born in Montepulciano, born in 2004, will therefore experience his third consecutive season in the roster of the first team of Emma Villas Siena, the club in which the player grew up and trained within the youth sector. In July Pellegrini will celebrate his twentieth birthday, in the meantime he has earned a renewal with the Sienese team. This is another confirmation of the team that played in the last A2 series championship, reaching the playoff final (then lost against Grottazzolina) at the end of a beautiful ride: Pellegrini’s is another renewal that comes after those of Thomas Nevot, Stefano Trillini, Federico Bonami, Martin Coser and obviously after that of coach Gianluca Graziosi who will coach the Tuscan team again next season.

“I am very happy with this confirmation – these are the words of Federico Pellegrini – it means that the work done has borne fruit. There have already been many important confirmations, which means that he will remain a hard core of the team that reached the Serie A2 playoff final last season. It seems to me that the club has set up a strong and quality roster, the hope is to be able to play another high-level championship and be able to compete with all the other teams.”

The white and blue spiker still talks about the confirmations compared to last year’s roster: “I’m also happy because the bond is good with the guys who were already in the team last season – says Pellegrini. – Having a hard core will be an important aspect and element, it means that the work will not have to start from scratch given that various players already know each other, on and off the pitch. There is a nice base on which to work.”

Very good words are addressed to coach Gianluca Graziosi. “He is a very good coach – these are the words of the Sienese volleyball player – I got on really well with him. He is a coach who makes you work hard and well and who allows you to grow and improve. After a year of working with him I feel like a better player and I hope to be able to learn many things in the next sporting year too. I thank the coach and also all the players who were in the team last season for the teachings, suggestions and advice they gave me. They were invaluable.”
