The second week of preparation for the ErmGroup Volley Altotevere is underway and, as expected, on the afternoon of Monday 2 September one of the new signings arrived in San Giustino, the central Gabriel Galiano (in the photo), accompanied by his parents and brothers after the still a positive parenthesis with the Under 20 national team, even if the 18-year-old from Puglia was not included in the 14 Azzurri squad called up for the European Championship. In this regard, the other athlete who is instead involved in the continental event, the spiker Daniele Carpita, will join his new teammates on Monday 16th. And again from Monday 2nd September, sessions with the ball at the San Giustino sports hall, after five days in which in the morning the group was busy with weights and functional circuits at the GPoint gym together with Giovanni Collacchioni and Davide Marra, while the afternoon was dedicated to activation on synthetic surfaces, sand and water in Fighille di Citerna in the sports center facilities Pampaloni, to whose management the Volley Altotevere company once again extends heartfelt thanks for their precious collaboration. “The boys responded very well – declared coach Marco Bartolini – and it is positive that there were no physical problems, except for very slight ailments which are typical of the period. This week, after returning to the pool but in this case in the San Giustino pool, we continue with weights and functional circuits in the morning and afternoon work in the gym focused on both the physical and technical parts”. Friday 6 September is also the day of the official presentation of both the team that will participate in the A3 Credem Banca championship and the company that has recently taken on its new name. The appointment is from 9pm onwards at the Altotevere Brewery in San Giustino.
