Having archived the season just finished with satisfaction, Avimecc Volley Modica is starting to take the first steps to plan the sixth consecutive season in the A3 series championship.
The first step taken by president Ezio Aprile in total agreement with General Director Luca Leocata and the rest of the blue and white management was to reconfirm coach Enzo Distefano who will also sit on the bench of the County sextet next year.
A more than deserved confirmation for the Ragusan coach who in his first season as first coach in the Third Series achieved the club’s objectives through good play and making the most of the squad available from which he brought out the best in every single element.
“Enzo Distefano – declare the managers of Avimecc Volley Modica – in the past season he demonstrated to us all his competence and his level of preparation in the A3 series, qualities that we had already seen in his journey with our youth teams, confirming what all of us we had seen in him. This – they continue – confirms that his promotion to first team coach was the right choice. His reconfirmation, therefore, was almost natural and without any of us having any doubts. We will continue with him on the bench next season too – conclude the managers of the white and blue team, also because the objectives we set for ourselves last championship were achieved and with Enzo we have almost never experienced periods of difficulty and those few times in which are presented have been passed admirably”.
In agreement with Distefano, the management will now compose the new roster starting from the reconfirmation of the “hard core”.
“I’m starting again from Volley Modica – declares Enzo Distefano – who reconfirmed their trust in me after my first season as first coach and I think that the trust given to me has been repaid with the results obtained. I thank the management for giving me the opportunity to continue working with them and for them for a project in which I believe. I will demand enthusiasm from everyone, managers, players and staff because, in my opinion, it is the engine that drives us to achieve goals and to always have good intentions
