Avimecc Modica entrusts the athletic preparation of the blue and whites to Emanuele Cappello, who will also take care of the physical form of the blue and white team for the 2024/2025 season which will be at the start for the sixth consecutive year in the A3 series championship on 13 October.
A combination that has lasted for five years and which is consolidated from season to season. After having written a page of history as a player, in fact, Emanuele Cappello, albeit in different guises, was always at the side of the “Galletti”, always managing to bring out the best in the athletes available, taking care of their physical preparation down to the smallest detail.
“What will begin shortly – explains Emanuele Cappello – will be my fifth year as a physical trainer for Volley Modica, a club that gave me so much even when I wore this shirt as a player. So, the years spent together with these colors cannot be counted. I am very happy with the trust placed in me by the president Ezio Aprile, the DG Luca Leocata and the rest of the management. A confirmation – he continues – also came from the possibility of being able to carry out a national course for volleyball physical preparation experts. This harmony with the Volley Modica family – underlines Cappello – is undoubtedly the result of the collaboration and common intent with coach Enzo Distefano, a great professional and companion on many adventures. I owe him a lot too. With him, together with the rest of the technical staff, we are already working to plan the season. I have already had the opportunity to contact all the old and new athletes to start their physical preparation in the best possible way. Like every year, the company has made an extra effort to build a competitive team and aim for the top areas of the rankings. Maybe we are not talking about the names of famous athletes or those coming from higher divisions, but certainly a mix of young athletes and someone with experience to assemble a team that can give us great satisfaction. The A3 series – concludes Emanuele Cappello – will not be an easy championship, because for some years the Blue group has been made up of super-equipped teams aiming to move up the series. Our desire is to see more and more people at the “PalaRizza” to support us and to see a level of volleyball that is certainly among the highest in Modica, given that Avimecc Modica is the second place at a regional level after Catania”.
