Guests of the municipal administration, the toucans showed up in the Loggia on Tuesday afternoon for the baptism of the 2024/2025 season which starts on Sunday at home against Cuneo at the new time of 5.30pm.
Local journalists were all present, who came to listen to the large group of speakers and to familiarize themselves with the new faces of the Brescia squad.
President Giovanni Ieraci is the first to speak and thanks for the work done by the coach and the technical and organizational staff in the ten years of the A2 series, he recalls the first Italian Cup final, the Play-off final with Taranto, he recalls the trophies won in last year and also thanks for the profitable summer purchasing campaign.
Tiziana Gaglione, president of the FIPAV Territorial Committee of Brescia, has words of praise: “You represent the top of men’s volleyball and for ten years you have given us the opportunity to see high-level matches. In this discipline we have seen how the start of a season can be in a certain way and its conclusion, however, very different. Here, today, it is like Saturday in the village: there is waiting, there is hope for what can happen, but there is also the certainty that this new group, founded on solid foundations, will face with the hearts of lions the path in front of him, still surprising us.”
