A happy coincidence that the first ever match for Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria in Serie A is at the home of Avimecc Modica, the team I played for last season.
The anticipation is growing towards Reggio’s absolute debut in A3 which will take place on October 13th.

We listened to the Venetian athlete Marco Spagnol. How’s it going?

“It’s going very well.
Mister Polimeni gives us various stimuli.
We are a group that has an extreme desire to work.
We want to demonstrate.
Many want to demonstrate good things done previously and others, however, want to stand out.
We want to do well.”

Palacalafiore, your new facility?

“Very nice.
The best in the championship, without a doubt.
We hope to be able to bring many people to support us.”

What championship are you ready to face?

“The championship is tough.
The teams have decreased.
The level has risen.
Many athletes have dropped out of Serie A2.
The pitch factor will be important, the same goes for the emotional side, just like the technical side.”

Did you already know any of your classmates?

“Enrico Lazzaretto and Alessandro Stufano, I had the opportunity to play against them last season.
The Mister? I appreciate it so much.
It’s very ambitious.”
