Virtus Aversa branded Evolution Green has officially started athletic training in view of the new season, with an intense program that involved the athletes in various physical activities to build a solid base both physically and mentally. The first day of training took place between the facilities of Acquadream in Succivo, the Gora Wellness gym in Cesa and the area dedicated to sand and beach volleyball at the Jambo shopping centre.
The day began with a session in the pool, where the athletes worked on endurance and muscle recovery under the expert guidance of athletic trainer Paolo Della Volpe and physiotherapist Giuseppe Menale. Subsequently, the team moved to the Gora gym for an intense weights session, essential for increasing physical strength and power. Finally, the team completed the training circuit on the sand, a key exercise to improve balance and stability, essential elements to best face the season.
The entire program was supervised by the coaches Giacomo Tomasello, Stefano Beltrame and Ignazio Nappa, who carefully followed every phase of the training, providing technical indications and motivating the boys to give their best.
The president of the club, Sergio Di Meo, underlined that “this year great challenges await us, but I am sure that with everyone’s commitment and dedication, we will be able to achieve important results. I would like the boys to be able to have fun on the pitch, because only then can we give our best. Fun and passion will be our strength. This is the beginning of an important journey. In addition to physical work, it is essential that everyone feels an integral part of this team. The strength of the group will be our main weapon. United we can overcome any obstacle.”
And therefore a direct message to Rossini and his companions: “I strongly believe in all of you and in your abilities. Virtus Aversa has a great history and I am sure that together we will write new successful pages. The goal is not just to win, but to grow together as a team and as men.”
