Between the end of May and the beginning of June, the Del Monte® Junior League returns, the Under 20 competition signed by Lega Pallavolo Serie A which every year showcases some of the greatest talents from the youth sectors of Serie A clubs: a real stage on which the champions of the future parade.
The 31st edition of the “Massimo Serenelli Trophy” will be organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A in collaboration with the Pallavolo Bologna company. There will be eight teams that will compete alternating on two playing facilities from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June, in San Lazzaro di Savena (BO) and Ozzano dell’Emilia (BO).
The last event reserved for youth teams organized in Bologna was the tournament for Under 18 teams, held in 2008. Last year, however, the competition reserved for Under 20 talents took place in the Marche region, with the victory of Vero Volley Monza by 3 -1 against Gamma Chimica Brugherio, within the suggestive Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche (MC).
In addition to the two teams already mentioned, Itas Trentino, Kioene Padova, Cucine Lube Civitanova, Valsa Group Modena, Cisterna Volley and Consar Ravenna will also participate in the competition.
