After the success of the Del Monte® Boy League 2024, which saw Gamma Chimica Brugherio triumph at the end of the Final Eight in Fano (PU), the week leading up to the Del Monte® Junior League has begun, the last seasonal event of the Volleyball League Serie A. There will be eight teams that will try, from Friday 31 May until the Finals on Sunday 2 June, to raise the trophy dedicated to the Under 20 teams to the sky, with two pitches set up in Bologna (Ozzano dell’Emilia and San Lazzaro di Savena ) to act as the stage for the event.
Below is the event formula and complete calendar.
The eight participating teams are divided into two groups of four teams each (with one-way matches). At the end of the Group Phase, the names of the 4 Semi-finalists candidates for the podium will be known and the teams that will participate in the Finals from 5th to 8th place: the first two of each group will play the Semi-finals and consequent 3rd-4th Final Place or Final for the gold medal. All the others, from third to fourth place, will face the team from the other group with the same position in the standings: the two third-placed teams will play for 5th-6th place, the two fourth-placed teams for 7th-8th.
