On Sunday at 5pm, the PalaMazzola is preparing to welcome an unmissable challenge for all volleyball fans: President Bongiovanni’s Gioiella Prisma Taranto will take to the field against Allianz Milano for the inaugural match of the 80th Credem Banca Superlega championship. With the enthusiasm of 980 season ticket holders ready to support the team, it promises to be an electrifying atmosphere worthy of great occasions. Expectations are high and the anticipation is sky-high for this home debut, where the rossoblù fans will be the true seventh man on the pitch, ready to push their favorites towards a very interesting battle to start the season in the best possible way.

With coach Dante Boninfante at the helm, the team is ready to compete with the first opponent of the season called Allianz Milano, a well-structured team competing in the Champions League, coached by coach Piazza.

The hard core of the Milanese team has remained almost the same, with some new additions, the diagonal is that formed by the director Porro, the blue setter with great vision and tactical ability and by the Belgian opposite Reggers, born in 2003, a young talent who combines power and agility in attack.

As second setter, Nicola Zonta (ITA), born in 2000, is an ambitious young man who combines precision and speed of play, last year often called into question in the double substitution. On the second line as opposite will be Tommaso Barotto (ITA), born in 2005, one of the interesting prospects on the Italian scene, thanks to his 212 cm and devastating shots.
