The fifth day will be with Monza at the PalaPanini, followed by Verona while the seventh day will be at the PalaPanini with Cisterna. On the eighth day Modena will go to Civitanova then Padova at home and finally to Taranto, and Milan to PalaPanini. The quarter-finals of the Italian Cup will be on 29 December while the Final Four will be on 25 and 26 January 2025 in Bologna.
“We will make our debut against Piacenza – comments coach Alberto Giuliani – which is why our thoughts turn first and foremost to that match. The teams must all be met, I wouldn’t dwell too much on when and how. Now we focus on preparation, we must execute it well because we have a largely new team and we must create the best mix. De Cecco and Sanguinetti in Paris? I would have liked to have more than two players at the Olympics, but we have them and this has the positive side of having all the others already available from the start. Olympics? I expect a good tournament, Italy can be the protagonist.”
