A big man of 213cm of athletic freshness on the way for an increasingly young, talented and hungry team. A.S. Volley Lube announces the hiring of Brazilian center back Davi Tenorio Capelocci, born in 2005, with a three-year contract, a native of São Paulo and coming from Soria Voleibol, Spanish vice-champion team and finalist of the Iberian Super Cup.
The Paulista giant, of Brazilian citizenship and Spanish sports federation (first membership in Spain), will occupy a slot for non-EU players. The new entry discovered his love for volleyball at the age of 12, when he lived in Andorra with his family and at the end of a parenthesis in youth basketball. After playing in the youth team of Club Volei Andorra between 2015/16 and 2018/19, Tenorio moved to the Spanish club Get Blume and then settled in the last three years in the aforementioned Grupo Herce Soria Voleibol, a collective with which he recently SuperLiga tournament has found space in the sprint. In the last two seasons the Brazilian athlete also had his first contacts with Lube by training in the summer with the red and white coaches at the Eurosuole forum.

“This is not a new face in the Lube environment because I brought him to Italy in the last two years to train him in the summer with our staff. Even when he was only 17 and a half years old he demonstrated important prerogatives for a central defender such as speed of execution, speed in moving on the pitch and coordination. Among other things, he was already good at jumping and has further grown in height. He also appears younger than his chronological age, but he is already physically ready and will have an easy maturation. Furthermore, his motivations will influence his inclusion because building for Lube is somewhat of his life’s dream. I can now sign the fact that in the near future we will hear a lot about this boy, who has all the characteristics to make his way among the best in the role!”.
