Dario Sanna will be the General Director of Volley Prata for at least two more seasons. The Via Volta club and the expert manager have renewed mutual trust and will still be together in the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons, with an option already on the table for the 2026-2027 season.
Sanna, originally from Sassari, began his adventure in Prata three seasons ago, with the team in A3. Thanks also to his tireless work, the club of president Maurizio Vecchies was able to make an important leap in quality both on the field, where promotion to A2 and the Italian Cup of A3 came first and then the stable inclusion of the team among the “nobles” ” of the A2 Series, thanks to an excellent ability to work in synergy with the sports management and the company Board of Directors. But also off the pitch where the club has structured itself in an even more professional manner with the creation of a structure that includes secretariat and press office, the management of PalaPrata where, in agreement with the municipal administration, the club has organized its headquarters and its offices. What was not trivial was, together with the corporate administrative side, the control of the tasks of the sports labor reform and the upcoming legislation on the restriction, in addition to the management of sponsors and partners. Finally, there has been a profound professional restructuring of the youth sector, starting with the appointment of the Technical Director Francesco Gagliardi, and the birth of the VP College, a summer week of volleyball improvement which is held in Piancavallo and which has already obtained wide acclaim by athletes from all over Italy.
