The fifth week of pre-season preparation opened with a welcome surprise for the men’s Itas Trentino. From today, one day earlier than scheduled, Daniele Lavia will also be training with the group at the IlT Daily Arena; the blue spiker returned to Trento already on Monday evening and did not want to wait until Wednesday (as initially planned) to make himself available to Fabio Soli in view of the new yellow-blue season. On August 28th it will be the turn of Jan Kozamernik, Gabriele Laurenzano (already seen in the weight room last week), Alessandro Michieletto and Riccardo Sbertoli, who arrived in the city today.
The training period that has just begun will therefore be the first in which the staff will be able to count on almost the entire squad set up in the summer by the management; from Thursday the only one absent will in fact be the spiker Alessandro Bristot, who in recent days has played the first matches of the Under 20 European Championship with the category’s Italy shirt.
The program drawn up by the technical staff will include a double daily session, similar to today’s (weights in the morning, technique in the late afternoon), also on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, while on Wednesday the team will work only in the evening. A rest day is scheduled for Saturday 31 August.
