While waiting to announce the first incoming shots as soon as the negotiations are concluded, at Avimecc Volley Modica, the locker room continues to be “cemented” with the athletes who were the backbone of the County sextet.
Among these also the middle blocker Daniele Buzzi who after the excellent season played in the shadow of the Castello dei Conti has reached an agreement and will wear the Volley Modica shirt for the next season too.
“Ever since he arrived in Modica last year – explain the Biancoazzurri managers – we understood that Daniele Buzzi would be a purchase to focus on also in the future and so it was. We are happy to have him with us again next season because – they continue – in the last championship we were able to admire and appreciate his technical and human skills. Daniele has a strong sense of duty and a great spirit of sacrifice, but above all he was an example of respect and education towards us managers, his teammates and our fans. It will be one of our strong points also in our seventh consecutive season in Serie A3 and – they conclude – we are sure we have made the right choice”.
For the class of 2000, what will begin soon will be his fourth season in Serie A3, after those spent with Falù Ottaviano and Shedirpharma Sorrento before his arrival in the white and blue. For him also the experience in Serie A2 with the Sinergy Mondovì shirt.
“I am very happy to have remained in Modica for the next season too – declares the Volley Modica center back – because it is a very serious and ambitious reality in which I immediately felt at ease. Being reconfirmed by the club and the coach gives me a strong dose of pride and self-esteem, which are important for achieving my personal growth goals, as an athlete and member of the team in which I am happy to find several teammates from last season. The next A3 series championship – he continues – will once again be very difficult and demanding, because there will be many top-level teams who have declared their objectives. We – concludes Daniele Buzzi – will do everything we can to face them to the best of our ability, trying from the first training session to improve the result obtained last championship”.
