CUS Cagliari’s pre-season is progressing well, so far always positive in matches against teams in the same category.
In the last weekend the boys of the new coach Simeon brought home the victory of the “Giacomo Cabras” Tournament, in which Sarroch Polisportiva and Negrini Acqui Terme took part.
A test divided into two days, which saw the rossoblù win both matches in the tie-break against teams of absolute value and with strong ambitions.
The technician was thus able to see the fruits of this first period of work in the field and understand which aspects to concentrate his work on:
“We are certainly satisfied with the tournament, but I would say in general how the pre-season has gone so far. The sensations are good, the determination and the desire to win the sets despite the many mistakes are there and this gives us hope for continuing to work.
The tournament was important to understand where to direct the work, where to concentrate more especially by looking at how the team behaved on the pitch. We have done many good things, especially in terms of attitude, but there are just as many things that we still need to work on well.
