In his sixth Grotese season, he can now be considered a jersey man. In the 2024-25 season Marco Cubito will remain in Grottazzolina to live the Super League dream with Yuasa Battery. Born in ’92, he is now a full-fledged Grotese: “After 6 seasons – begins Cubito – I am now a full-fledged Grotese, also by virtue of the honorary citizenship received from the mayor for promotion to the Super League. I am very proud to represent the club in this new challenge, we have mutual respect and I couldn’t have asked for more.”
The center back has many anecdotes and memories: “From a sporting point of view, this year has just ended and is the best year for the goal achieved. Other emotions? One in particular which, on a personal level, has left its mark: the promotion to A2, two years ago, combined with the Italian Super Cup won in our PalaGrotta. A double that has a special place in my heart.”
