Piazza Cavalli, the heart of Piacenza, hosted the official ribbon cutting of the 2024-2025 season of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza with the presentation of the team and the new racing uniforms.
As part of the Contemporary Thinking Festival, an evocative location such as Piazza Cavalli was the best possible background to present the team that will soon be at the starting line of the SuperLega Credem Banca to fans, sponsors, authorities and media. And in addition to the players and technical staff, it was an opportunity to present the management staff, the sponsors and the members of the Board of Directors of the red and white club.
The event, presented impeccably by Federica Lodi and Andrea Zorzi, allowed the many people who attended to get to know one by one all the members of the new roster available to coach Andrea Anastasi and discover the new match uniforms that the players will wear in the season that is about to start.
During the evening there will also be two awards given by Katia Tarasconi, Mayor of Piacenza. A plaque was awarded to Antoine Brizard, gold medalist with France at the recent Paris Olympics and one to the very young libero Lorenzo Antonio Basso, player of the red and white youth sector, who won the world title with Italy’s shirt a few weeks ago at the Under 17 World Cup.
Players presented in groups and by role, starting with the central players, then with the liberos, then the spikers and then moving on to the opposite players and then to the setters. Lots of applause and encouragement for everyone.
