After the team roster, defined well in advance, Gabbiano Mantova makes the technical staff official for the Serie A3 Credem Banca 2024-2025 season.

But first of all we must celebrate coach Simone Serafini (very confirmed on the Mantua bench), who a few days ago was awarded the Costa-Anderlini award by the Serie A Volleyball League as the best coach of the past Serie A3 championship. An enormous satisfaction for the coach, to be naturally shared with the entire group that participated in the last, unforgettable championship.

Assisting him on the bench next season will be Cristian Lorenzi, born in 1996, protagonist for several years as a Gabbiano player and now, fresh from his second degree licence, ready to live a new blue-and-white adventure: «You can say that my it’s a return home – explains Lorenzi – after a year, let’s call it a sabbatical. I’m very happy with the opportunity, I can’t wait to get back to the gym and pick up where I left off, albeit with another role.”

«Cristian is one of us – explains sporting director Nicola Artoni – and we are therefore very happy to be able to welcome him back into our reality. He has a profound knowledge of volleyball, and as such we are sure he can represent a valid support for Simone (Serafini, ed.) over the next year.”

Lorenzi replaces Giacomo Dalpane: «Our thanks go to him – adds Artoni – for the commitment he always showed and for the passion with which he lived his role. I wish him the best for the future.”

Further confirmations arrive for the rest of the staff: in the role of assistant coach and scout is Francesca Pantiglioni, while Elena Giannotta will still be the athletic trainer: «They are two very important figures for us – continues Artoni – and we are therefore extremely satisfied to still be able to count on of them”.

The logistics manager will still be Andrea Ferrari, while Martina Panizza is confirmed as Social Media Manager, with Sergio Martini as press officer. However, the healthcare staff is still being defined and will undergo some changes.

Next week there will be the three days of the League, which will culminate with the presentation of next season’s calendars for the two groups of Serie A3. La Gabbiano is included in the white group with Acqui Terme, Belluno, Brugherio, Cagliari, San Donà di Piave, Sarroch, Savigliano, Ancona and San Giustino.
