The A3 Promotion Playoff is preparing to experience its epilogue with the third and final match of the series. Sunday 21 April (7.30 pm), at the PalaSguaitzer, Gabbiano Mantova and Banca Macerata meet for the beauty. After the four-set home success of the Lombard sextet, the Macerata team responded in Game 2 with a comeback that led from the initial 0-2 to the last-gasp success of the tie-break. At the end of a match as daring as it was spectacular, the situation returned to perfect parity. The winner of the third match will acquire the right to play in the Serie A2 Credem Banca 2024/25. For Mantua it would be a return after the four-season cycle that took place between 2007/08 and 2010/11, for Macerata it would be the opportunity to reappear in the category after having played a year in A2 in 2018/19, in the previous tournament to the birth of A3 Credem Banca. The collective that emerges defeated in the series will resume the race towards promotion from the A3 Play Off Semifinals.
