Being Court Manager for our Umberto Albano is much more than a simple guarantee of the functioning of the services necessary for the competition protocol. Our manager interprets this mission as a true “court” manager where it is also necessary to worry about the beauty, feelings and positive vibrations that must characterize the competition venue. And so before the morning finishing last Sunday the Court Manager of Romeo Sorrento gave the entire Serie A staff a fantastic surprise. A strictly green-and-white tree in which everyone, upon entering the court, was asked to place a decorated ball on the tree with their name and photograph (taken by Luigi Penna). The initiative, which was greeted with enthusiasm and gratitude by Mr. Esposito, the entire staff and the players, was also enriched with a curious detail. At the top of the tree is a bauble depicting little Zoe sleeping wrapped in the Folgore scarf. The French bulldog owned by one of the company’s managers is always present at the matches, as are many other little dogs who have made the “court” a truly dog-friendly space where every Sunday there are many four-legged friends. In short, when there is something more besides volleyball… you can see it! And Court Manager Umberto Albano is the right embodiment of how to live this role well beyond the preparation of a single match.
