With the ritual medical visits, the 24/25 season of Cisterna Volley officially begins. Today the Pontine collective met at Doctor Martini’s “Ninfa Rehabilitation Polyclinic” in Cisterna di Latina to carry out all the necessary tests, before starting the first seasonal training session in the afternoon under the eyes of the renewed technical staff available to coach Falasca. An opportunity for the first meeting between the Cisterna Volley staff and the team. In addition to Falasca, the second coach Roberto Cocconi, the third coach Elio Tommasino, the athletic trainer Andrea Bianchetti and the scoutman Maurizio Cibba were present, before moving to the Cisterna di Latina building to start the first work session.

“Today was the opportunity to do the tests necessary to start training in the gym – says coach Guillermo Falasca – As we expected there were no problems, now we will gradually start to introduce the workloads. Our objective now is first of all to bring the team back to the best possible physical and technical condition. We are still waiting for the return of some players, in these days we will take the opportunity to focus on specific work at a technical and tactical level, while waiting to have the full team to better develop our game as well. This period before the start of the competitions allows us to focus on some technical aspects, we will take advantage of it to use this time available in the best possible way. Finally, it will be important to avoid running into any physical problems. Where possible, we will avoid risking possible injuries.”

At the medical center the players entrusted themselves to the care of various specialists, starting with the team’s new physiotherapists: Michele Freda, already in Cisterna Volley as an osteopath, and Nello Colantuono. In addition to the club doctor Amedeo Verri, there were the orthopedic surgeon Gianluca Martini, the cardiologist Giorgio Greci, the nutritional biologist Salvatore Battisti, the podiatrist Alessandro Russo, the head of laboratory analyzes Roberto Zaralli, the radiologist Francesco Sciuto and Doctor Chiara Russo.
